WARSO ROBE OFFERING CEREMONY 2025
MIIT joyfully celebrated the Warso Robe Offering Ceremony, a cherished Buddhist tradition observed during the Warso season, with students, faculty, and staff participating together to honor the Sangha. The event highlighted the institute’s commitment to preserving Myanmar’s cultural and spiritual values, while also fostering unity, generosity, and mindfulness among the university community. Through collective offerings and respectful participation, the ceremony not only paid homage to the monastic community but also served as a meaningful reminder of compassion, gratitude, and shared responsibility in nurturing both knowledge and virtue.

TRUST BIN DONATION CEREMONY
MIIT, in collaboration with the Environmental Conservation Group, held a Trash Bin Donation Ceremony to support a cleaner and greener campus. The donation, made as part of efforts to promote environmental conservation, aimed to raise awareness among students and staff about the importance of proper waste management and sustainable practices. During the event, representatives highlighted the need for collective responsibility in protecting the environment, while encouraging the university community to actively participate in maintaining cleanliness. This initiative not only contributed to a healthier and more pleasant campus atmosphere but also reflected MIIT’s commitment to fostering environmental stewardship among its students.

AWARENESS TALK ON ON THE PREVENTION OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING
MIIT hosted an Awareness Talk on the Prevention of Human Trafficking, with the aim of educating students and staff about the dangers and consequences of human trafficking. The session was led by invited experts, who shared knowledge on recognizing warning signs, understanding legal protections, and promoting safe practices, especially for young people. Participants were encouraged to be vigilant, responsible, and supportive in spreading awareness within their communities. The event reflected MIIT’s commitment not only to academic excellence but also to social responsibility, by equipping its students with essential knowledge to protect themselves and contribute to the prevention of human trafficking in society.
