\n Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)<\/strong>
\n Overview<\/strong>
\nThe B.E. (Hons.) programme in Computer Science & Engineering lays great emphasis on a broad-based coverage of the hard sciences (physics, chemistry, and mathematics) and the engineering sciences. This provides the student with a strong foundation for various courses in computer science & engineering. The programme focuses on the core areas of computer science, but also offers the students the opportunity to gain substantial depth in a specific area through a rich collection of electives.\n
\nMore about the programme<\/strong>
\nAll students enroll for at least 7 courses in English language to enhance their reading, writing, speaking, and communication skills. The programme also offers a diverse set of courses from humanities and social sciences. All students are required go through a strong foundation of 7 courses in mathematics, thereby arming them with the formal methods needed to remain current and relevant as technologies change at a rapid pace. The programme is designed to empower the students to gain specific competencies in developing and maintaining systems through project courses.\n\nThe Capstone Project at the end of the programme provides an opportunity to the students to work for a full semester in their area of interest. They can either work at any one of the companies that MIIT has collaboration with, under the supervision of an industry resource person, or at the institute itself, under the supervision of a faculty member.\n\nIn short, the B.E. (Hons) in CSE programme is designed to enable the students to embark on a career in the information technology (IT) industry or continue their journey in academia towards a master\u2019s degree.\n <\/div>\n\n
\n Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)<\/strong>
\n Overview<\/strong>
\nThe B.E. (Hons.) programme in Electronics & Communications Engineering offers a strong foundation in the hard sciences (physics, chemistry, and mathematics) and the engineering sciences. The programme has several courses that cover all the necessary fundamentals in electronics that are required to work with electronic devices & systems, embedded systems, and communications systems. These courses combine classroom and hands-on lab experiences, including, but not limited to, such topics as digital electronics, technical communication, electronic circuit design, microprocessors, signal processing, and networking technologies.

\nThe programme focuses on core competencies in electronics & communication, but also offers the students the opportunity to gain substantial depth in an area through a rich collection of electives. \n Master\u2019s Degree Programmes (M.E)<\/strong>
\n The master\u2019s degree programmes at MIIT are full-time degree programmes conducted at the campus of MIIT in Mandalay, Myanmar. These programmes are designed to be flexible, modern, and rigorous, along the lines of successful higher degree programmes of International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-B) and other universities of international repute, and aligned with recommendations of bodies such as IEEE and ACM. These programmes are suitable for candidates aspiring to prepare themselves for a doctoral degree programme, or for a career in the IT industry.\n
\n Input Qualifications<\/strong>
\nThe following are the minimum eligibility requirements for admission to the master\u2019s degree programmes at MIIT:
\n\n
  1. B.E. (Hons.) degree of MIIT<\/li>\n
  2. Bachelor\u2019s degree offered by Universities of Computer Studies\/Computer Universities of Myanmar<\/li>\n
  3. Bachelor\u2019s degree offered by Technology Universities in Myanmar in the areas of Computers, IT, Electronics, and Mechatronics<\/li>\n
  4. Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computers, IT, Electronics, and Mechatronics from recognised universities outside Myanmar that are equivalent to the degrees offered by MIIT and other universities in Myanmar<\/li><\/ol>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
